Stress Observatory

Designed by CAPITAL SANTE, StressLab® is a Web software application used to set up a medical stress observatory for a site or any company, in France or internationally.

Based on the M.O.S.S.T (Mesure Opérationnelle et Scientifique du Stress au Travail - Operational and Scientific Measurement of Job Stress), the stress observatory can be used in the context of medical examinations in Occupational Healthcare. It provides the medical team, starting with the occupational physician, with a high-performance tool giving employees a veritable supplementary examination - an individual stress evaluation - while carrying out a longitudinal and transversal study of stress on a collective level.

StressLab® brings you the following benefits :

Throughout the year, StressLab® measures the various components of professional stress using validated scientific questionnaires.

Four dimensions can be studied :

• The stress level;
• Organizational stress factors presents in the company;
• The psychological effects of stress on the level of anxiety/depression;
• Health behavior linked to the possible consequences/causes of stress (addictions, sleep disorders, etc.).

1. During the visit, the nurse asks the employee to take a supplementary examination : a stress evaluation.
2. If he/she accepts, the employee answers the evaluation questionnaire (alone) on a computer terminal, which takes about ten minutes.
3. During the interview, the physician consults the results of the evaluation. He/she can easily enter into a conversation on the subject and then print out the evaluation report for the employee.
4. All of the evaluations are stored and grouped together by StressLab, which performs real-time consolidation of the data.
5. The physician can consult the trend chart generated by StressLab at all times. He/she can thus have, for example, constant, regular indicators of the stress level. If he/she so desires, the physician can transmit these indicators to the management or to the Department of Occupational Health and Safety.
6. Every 12 to 18 months, CAPITAL SANTE can carry out a more in-depth statistical analysis of the data and present a complete report to the company, including recommendations for corrective actions.
